Name: Ryncholamproetus dianae (van Viersen, 2015)
Stratigraphy: Jemelle Formation, middle Eifelian
Locality: Boutonville, Belgium
This rare trilobite was discovered by Didier Lelubre west of Couvin. In the photos is the holotype. Although the anterior ledge is broken off from the cephalon, it is preserved in the opposite rock half (lower left photo). This trilobite was formerly assigned to Diademaproetus but van Viersen & Müller (2026) proposed the new genus Rhyncholamproetus for species similar to Cornuproetus (Diademaproetus) antatlasius including Diademaproetus dianae.
